GRASS LAKE WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />July 26, 2007 <br />Roll Call: Members Present: Jeff DeZellar <br />Tracy Mogg <br />Karen Eckman <br />Doug Root <br />Board Member James Stark was absent. <br />Others Present: Duane Schwartz -Roseville <br />Cliff Aichinger-Ramsey/Washington Metro <br />Watershed District <br />Deanne Allen -Recorder <br />Mark Maloney, Shoreview, was absent. <br />Chair DeZellar called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. <br />A. Organizational Items <br />A-1 Approval of Minutes for Apri126, 2007 <br />Eckman moved approval of the minutes of Apri126, 2007, as submitted. Root <br />seconded. Ayes - 4 Nays - 0 <br />B. Correspondence and General Information <br />B-1 Correspondence Activity <br />1. Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) <br />Eckman asked what precipitated the letter to the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources (DNR) for the Snail Lake augmentation amendment. <br />Aichinger explained that the letter is a request for a change in the water level in <br />regard to the Snail Lake augmentation program. The permit is meant to address <br />the lake level through augmentation. <br />Root noted that this amendment would raise the water level from 881.5 in 1994, <br />to 882.7. Schwartz stated that if the water level is above 881.5, no intervention is <br />needed. <br />
