Organizational Items <br />A-1 Approval of Minutes for May 25, 2006. <br />Soderbeck moved to approve the Minutes of the May 25, 2006. <br />Stark seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 <br />B. Other Business <br />B-1 Strategic Lake Management Study -Lake Owasso <br />Maloney reported that Hal Runke (Barr Engineering), Duane Schwartz (City of Roseville), Cliff <br />Aichinger (RWMWD), and he (City of Shoreview) met on July 6, 2006, to consider the proposed <br />Scope of Services for Barr Engineering to develop lake management plans for Lake Owasso. He <br />then introduced Cliff and asked him to review the determinations of that meeting. <br />Aichinger related that there were three sub-watersheds identified for monitoring in connection <br />with the water quality study for Lake Owasso. They were identified from the prior (1991) study <br />as L07, L013, and LO10. He laid out a monitoring schedule which would run from October 1- <br />November 30, 2006; and April -September, 2007; and include approximately 23 samplings - 3 <br />this fall, and 20 next year. The total estimated cost of the study would be approximately $69,000, <br />plus staff time and lab costs of approximately $11,000. The timeline for the entire study to be <br />completed is projected for Feb/Mar, 2008. <br />
