GRASS LAKE WATER MANAGEMENT <br />Roll Call: <br />ORGANIZATION <br />Minutes of Meeting <br />July 28, 2005 <br />Members present <br />Jeff DeZellar <br />Rouse Farnham <br />Tracy Mogg <br />Gene Soderbeck <br />Members absent <br />Rich Brasch <br />Others present: Mark Maloney -Shoreview <br />Duane Schwartz -Roseville <br />Cliff Aichinger - RWMWD <br />Bill Iacoe -Lake Emily Assoc. <br />The meeting was called to order at 5:15 p.m. <br />A. <br />Organizational Items <br />A-1 Approval of Minutes for Apri128, 2005. <br />Farnham moved to approve the Minutes of the Apri128, 2005, <br />DeZellar seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0. <br />B. <br />Correspondence & General Information <br />B-1 The Board reviewed the following correspondence received by the GLWMO <br />since the last meeting: <br />1. Board of Water Commissioners, May 12, 2005, Wellhead Protection Plan <br />Notification <br />2. Minnesota Lakes Association, Minnesota Water Watcher, Summer 2005 <br />C. Bills <br />C-1 No bills were presented for consideration. <br />D. Other Business <br />D-1 Bill Iacoe, representing the Lake Emily Homeowner's Association, gave the Board <br />a brief history of the Association's efforts to improve water quality. He mentioned that <br />the Association consisted of 17 homeowners/interested parties in the vicinity of Lake <br />Emily, and had recently attempted to work with Lake Judy property owners to address <br />water quality concerns there. He indicated that water quality issues of Lake Judy were <br />negatively impacting water quality of Lake Emily. Bill shared recent correspondence and <br />mentioned that the Lake Emily Association wasn't able to generate much interest in or <br />support for improvements with the Lake Judy Homeowners. There was discussion <br />regarding the configuration of the outlet control/overflow for Lake Judy and the storm <br />
