EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING <br />OF CITY COUNCIL <br />OF CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, was held in the City Hall in said City on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 6:00 o'clock p.m. <br />The following members were present: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; and Johnson and the following were <br />absent: Klausing <br />Councilmember Pust introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10797 <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE IMPROVEMENT AND <br />PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />THE RICE STREET/ TH 36 BRIDGE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, a resolution of the City Council of Roseville adopted February 8, 2010, received the <br />feasibility report and fixed a date for a Council hearing on the Rice Street/ TH 36 Bridge <br />Reconstruction Project. <br />WHEREAS, ten days mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and <br />the hearing was held thereon on March 22, 2010, at which all persons desiring to be heard were <br />given an opportunity to be heard thereon; <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Roseville, Minnesota: <br />1. Such improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility <br />report. <br />2. -Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted March <br />22, 2010. <br />3. The City of Roseville will work with Ramsey County on this Ramsey County led <br />reconstruction project. <br />4. Ramsey County shall complete the final plans and specifications for the making of such <br />improvement. <br />5. The City Engineer will review the plans and specifications to ensure they represent the items <br />included within the Feasibility report for this project. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Ihlan and upon vote <br />being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Roe; Pust; Ihlan; and Johnson and the <br />following voted against the same: None. <br />
