All <br />Commissioners are expected to attend the presentation. <br />4b. Dialogue with the Karen Community <br />No information was available. Item tabled to a future meeting. <br />4c. Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update <br />Parks and Recreation Department Director Lonnie Brokke presented a brief slideshow about the <br />outreach efforts to update the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. He encouraged commissioners, <br />and all residents, to get involved in the process. <br />5. Public Comment <br />No one appeared for public comment. <br />6. Future Agenda Items <br />No one offered topics for future agenda items. <br />7. Announcements <br />The Commission does not meet in February, other than at the February 22 City Council meeting. <br />Commissioner Grefenberg followed up on the discussion at the December meeting about <br />comments made about Roseville at the State Human Rights Conference. Grefenberg noted that <br />the person was talking about story related by one of the participants at the HRC's October forum. <br />The story had become considerably distorted and the events exaggerated.. <br />Commissioner Grefenberg informed Commissioners that a new civic organization representing <br />the gay community and friends and allies in Roseville and Falcon Heights is forming to further <br />the cause of human rights for all. <br />8. Adjournment <br />Commissioner Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Oftelie seconded adjournment at 7:55 p.m. <br />Motion passed unanimously. <br />• <br />
