Following the presentation, Commissioners and honorees will be invited to a reception. All Commissioners are expected to attend the presentation. 4b. Dialogue with the Karen Community No information was available. Item tabled to a future meeting. 4c. Parks and Recreation Master Plan Update Parks and Recreation Department Director Lonnie Brokke presented a brief slideshow about the outreach efforts to update the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. He encouraged commissioners, and all residents, to get involved in the process. 5. Public Comment No one appeared for public comment. 6. Future Agenda Items No one offered topics for future agenda items. 7. Announcements The Commission does not meet in February, other than at the February 22 City Council meeting. Commissioner Grefenberg followed up on the discussion at the December meeting about comments made about Roseville at the State Human Rights Conference. Grefenberg noted that the person was talking about story related by one of the participants at the HRC's October forum. The story had become considerably distorted and the events exaggerated.. Commissioner Grefenberg informed Commissioners that a new civic organization representing the gay community and friends and allies in Roseville and Falcon Heights is forming to further the cause of human rights for all. 8. Adjournment Commissioner Grefenberg moved and Commissioner Oftelie seconded adjournment at 7:55 p.m. Motion passed unanimously. •
