Under this provision, candidates and political campaigns would have <br />seven to 13 days to post signs before the new primary election date. <br />Under the recent legislative change in any municipality, whether or not the municipality has <br />an ordinance that regulates the size or number of noncommercial signs, all noncommercial <br />signs of any size may be posted in any number from 46 days before the state primary in a <br />state general election year until ten days following the state general election. <br />POLICY �BJECTIVES <br />Allow political campaigns to post campaign signs 46 days before a primary election. <br />FINANCIAL IMPACTS <br />None <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt an Ordinance Amending Title 1010.03, Section 10, Posting Political Signage relating to <br />the date that Political Campaigns can post Political Signs. <br />REQUESTED COUNCIL ACTION <br />Adopt an Ordinance Amending Title 1010.03, Section 10, Posting Political Signage relating to <br />the date that Political Campaigns can post Political Signs. <br />Prepared by: William J.
