Certificate of Appreciation to Sandy Martin. <br />2. Letter from the City of Roseville appointing Jeffrey Roessler to the GLWMO <br />Boazd of Directors for athree-yeaz term. <br />3. Metropolitan Council grant application submitted by Roseville for experimental <br />erosion control to be installed as part of the school district development. <br />D. REPORTS <br />D-1 Marty Rye, engineering consultant from SEH, summarized the information <br />contained in the quarterly consultant report. The following items were discussed: <br />1. Lake Water Quality Planning <br />The Boazd received a draft Lake Study for Lake Wabasso with their packet. A <br />draft report for Lake Owasso was distributed at the meeting. SEH will send a <br />study for Snail Lake and an executive summary to the Board once they are <br />completed in the near future. <br />The Boazd will discuss the studies at the next Board meeting. <br />2. American Legion Pond Project <br />An Environmental Assessment. Worksheet (EAW) was submitted to the DNR. <br />Favorable comments were received. The City of Roseville, as the Local <br />Governing Unit, is expected to approve the EAW and find that an environmental <br />impact statement is not needed. This action will allow the project to proceed. <br />The City of Roseville awazded a construction contract to Arnt Construction for <br />the project with the following conditions: Project be constructed during the <br />winter of 1495/1996 and that all appropriate permits aze received. <br />3. Professional Ser'vtces <br />Marty Rye from SEH will be providing professional services for the GLWMO. <br />Mark Lobermeier will continue to serve in an overview role and will follow <br />current projects through to completion. <br />Board directed staff to send a letter to Mark Lobermeier expressing their <br />appreciation for his many years of service. <br />
