3
Y,~'x - ~~
{
5
7
2
4
6
8
1. Once silt fence has been run over with silt, the catch basin
must be cleaned out and the silt fence reinstalled.
2. Remove lid from the catch basin, drop in the "SILTSAGK"
and replace the lid. Installation time is approximately 1
minute.
3. Cover the flaps with dirt. and the installation is complete.
4. As the water rises it begins to cascade in from all sides.
5. To remove the "SILTSAGK," (1) slide 2 rebar through the
pockets on the long side flaps; (2) after lifting bars are in place,
leave in place or remove catch basin lid; (3) hook a lift sling to
the rebar; and (4) pick the sack up with heavy equiptment.
6. Removing the "SILTSAGK" takes approximately 2-5 minutes.
7. The unique permeability of the "SILTSAGK" fabric lets the
water out and keeps the silt in -notice the clean catch basin.
8. °SILTSAGK" contained 99.9% of the silt -nothing else can do that!
