A-4 <br />Organizational Items <br />Item Description: Staff reports on pending matters <br />1. New developments/projects within .Shoreview affecting the,GLWMO: <br />a. Highway 96 - Se mg ent 3 <br />Ramsey County has received bids for the roadway reconstruction contract and the Board <br />.accepted it at their Apri122 meeting. The contractor for the County, Shafer Contracting <br />Company, anticipates beginning work in early May. <br />b. Highway 96 Enhancements <br />The final plans for the City's corridor enhancements, which include median .landscaping and <br />gateway elements, are being developed. It is anticipated that the final plans for the enhancements <br />will be presented for. City Council approval at the May 19 meeting. <br />c. Community Center Underpass <br />The consultant has essentially completed the design work on this Federal ISTEA project. The <br />..plans have been submitted to MnDOT for their approval. The underpass is to be completed in <br />conjunction with the reconstruction of Highway 96 this summer. <br />d. Horseshoe Drive <br />Plans and specifications are completed and the project is currently out for public bidding. Staff <br />anticipates that construction could begin as early as June 16. <br />e. Shoreview Woods <br />Tree removal has occurred for the 22-unit residential development. Silt fence has been installed <br />and the developer anticipates beginning mass grading in May. <br />2. New developments/projects within Roseville affecting the GLWMO: <br />Attached is Karl Keel's report on pending matters. <br />
