Watershed Partners, Minutes to Meeting of May 14, 1997; Notice of June 11, 1997 Meeting. Mr. Rye handed out Minutes received for the June 1 1, 1997 meeting of the Watershed Partners. 2. Enviro Data, June, 1997, Issue 6, #1 Richard Fowler, Lake Owasso Association, to Mark Maloney, City Engineer, dated June 5, 1997, regarding storm water discharge into Lake Owasso. 4. Ramsey County Parks & Recreation, Wetland Replacement Plan Application, June 24, 1997 Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, July 2, 1997, Protected Waters Permit No. 97-6136, Roadway Improvements, Sucker Lake (62-28P), Ox Lake (62-25W) Snail Lake (62-73P), and Unnamed Wetland (62-260W), Ramsey County 6. C-2 The Board reviewed the following correspondence sent by the GLWMO since the meeting of May 1, 1997: 1. Letter to Michael Weburg, CO-R, St. Paul District Corp of Engineers, from Todd Howard, dated May 5, 1997, regarding proposed GP-17-MN Permit. D. REPORTS D-1 Consultant's Report No activity was reported, and the Board took no action on this item D-2 GLWMO Public Education/Information Plan Previously it was decided to focus on two of the five proposed educational goals: ® Modify turf management practices to protect water quality ® Remind public about impacts of recreational lake use on lake quality and of the importance of water quality to standard of living/general health. Staff had no formal presentation of the Education/Information Plan for the Board's review. An informal review of the objectives and long-range goals desired for the Education/Information Plan were discussed. Staff will update the Board on the Plan at the October meeting.
