Highway 96 -Segment 3 <br />Water main is essentially. complete and services are" expected to be changed over next <br />week. Concrete paving for the south side of the roadway is nearly completed.. Colored <br />crosswalksneed to be paved. Ramsey County and the Contractor have developed a <br />priority list for work to be completed before winter suspension. The list includes: <br />installing turn lanes at Lexington, constructing a new driveway at the corner of Lexington <br />Avenue and Highway 96, installing turn lanes at Dale Street, Victoria Street, and Milton. <br />Street, etc. It is anticipated that traffic will be switched to the south side of Highway 96 <br />for in 2-3 weeks. <br />b. Community Center Underpass <br />While a significant portion of the project is in place, the underpass will not be open this <br />fall. Completions of the trails, lighting, etc. must be finished before it would be safe to <br />open.. The color for the headwalls has been approved and the walls on the south side of <br />96 are being constructed. Headwall construction on the north side may begin this week. <br />Plans are to complete all the work next spring. <br />c. Horseshoe Drive <br />The final lift of asphalt was placed on October 10. Only a few punchlist items remain, <br />including limited landscaping, removing the silt fences .and paving the patch on N. <br />Owasso Boulevard.. Street lighting will be installed by NSP next spring in two locations. <br />
