RESOLUTION NO. 423 EXTR/lCT OF 11INUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF RO SB~ILLE RitMSEY comITY, MINNESOTA March 3, 1961 Pursuant to due call Cl notice thereof, Cl regula.r meeting of the Village Council of the Villege of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly he1j at the Village Hall in said Village on Friday, the 3rd d2Y of March, 1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Cedarholm, Trustees Shields, Flanagan and Reinecke and the following was absent: Trustee McGee Trustee Reinecke introduced and moved the adoption of the following resolution: REa.: LUTTON APProVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISENEHT FOR BIDS WHEREAS, pursuant to a res6lution p"'ssed by the Villare Council on August 7, 1959, the Villaee Engineers, Banister Eneineering Co.,has pre- pared plans and specifications for Projects 11 and 12 of Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 3 and have presented such plans anI specific"'tions to the Council for approval. THEREFDHE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VIlLAGE QHJNCIL OF RJSEVTLLE, MINNEs)TA: 1, Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and CBuse to be inserted in the Rose Tribune, the officinl paper, and in the Construction Btrlletin an ad- vertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under such ap- proved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that bids will be opened ;:md consi dered by the Co ncil at 11: 30 0' clock A .M. on April 3, 1961, in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk Bnd accompanied by a cash deposit or certified check pa.yable to the Clerk for ten per cent ( 10% ) of the amount of such bid and that the advertisement shall state a completion date of September 1, 1961. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was dilly seconded by Trustee Shields, and upon vote being taken the following voted in favor: (4) Ayes and the following voted against: ( 0 ) Nays WHEREUPON, siad resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
