The BWSR is now <br />accepting applications for both of these grant programs. The application deadline is <br />July 1 1998. <br />1999 Challenge Grant Programs Highlights <br />- The same application format shall be used to apply for either of these grants. <br />- Eligible counties, watershed. districts, and watershed management <br />organizations, may apply. <br />All applications ~a-ill be reviewed, scored, and funded, strictly on a competitive <br />basis only. <br />- Local governmental units may submit multiple applications, but each <br />application must be submitted separately. <br />- All grants require a 1:1 local cash or in-kind goods and services match. <br />- Approximately $00,000 is available for LWRPMP Challenge Grants. <br />- Approximately $400,000 is available for Feedlot Challenge Grants. <br />- Grant Agreements will be for two years, October 1, 1998 -September 30, <br />2000 <br />Use the enclosed application materials to apply.
