Distribution of Local Share of Project <br />The local share for this project equals $9,.100.00. It will be provided to the project as in-kind labor <br />by the SWCD, Extension Office, and the County Planning and Zoning Department in the amounts <br />listed in the budget. The Crystal Lake Association has donated $520.00 to the project. <br />6. Relationsh~ of Grant Request to Priority Implementation Items in the Comprehensive Local Water Plan <br />This grant proposal is directly related to the Stormy County CLWP in implementing the following <br />goal, objective, and action in the Plan. <br />Goal: STRATEGY FORPREVENTING POLLUTION FROM INDIVIDUAL SEPTIC SYSTEMS <br />(page 25 CLWP) <br />Objective #1. Implement a comprehensive program to prevent groundwater and surface water <br />contamination by the effluent of individual septic systems. <br />Action #2. Adopt and enforce a Countywide On-Site Septic Wastewater Treatment System Ordinance <br />that protects groundwater in the County while minimizing costs to the individual landowner. <br />Description of How Cooperation With Adjacent Counties and Water management Organizations Has Been <br />Secured (if applicable) <br />Not applicable <br />8. Descri tion of Local Support and Interaa~en~ Cooperation <br />Because this initiative has resulted from the CLWP we are confident that a good deal of public <br />support already exists as evidenced by the cash contribution from the Crystal Lake Association. Part <br />of the proposed project will be to develop additional citizen support. <br />Interagency cooperation is excellent as evidenced by the project participants.
