CALL TO ORDER <br />The meeting was called to order by President Roger Lake. <br />2. APPROVAL OF MIN>LJTES <br />Motion: Jack Frost moved, Bob Johnson seconded, to approve the minutes of July 1, 1998. The <br />motion was carried. <br />Motion: Bob Johnson moved, Roger Lake seconded, to approve the minutes of July 7, 1998. The <br />motion was carried. <br />3. APPROVAL O?F' AOENDA <br />Cliff Aichinger requested the addition of a proposed minimum wetland buffer setback policy <br />(Resolution #98-21). <br />4. PERMIT APPLICATIONS <br />Permit 98-29: Emerald Estates - St. Paul <br />Motion: Bob Johnson moved, seconded by Roger Lake, to approve Permit 98-29. The motion <br />was carried. <br />Permit 98-30: Joe's Crab Shack -Maplewood <br />Motion: Jack Frost moved, seconded by Bob Johnson, to approve Permit 98-30. The motion was <br />carried. <br />Permit 98-31: City of North St Paul Detention Ponds -North St Paul <br />Brad Lindaman explained that the city is modifying their plans to address the total drainage area <br />discrepancy for Pond. 1 as identified in Special Provision No. 3. Cliff stated that the city is also <br />responding to the District's request to address a unique channel section and an area with some <br />good wetland habitat. <br />
