EnviroData, Inc., Standards & Qualifications/"A.C.E in Hole", July, 1998 <br />Karl Keel suggested that we could abbreviate the amount of correspondence inserted in the packet <br />to include only that which is of specific relevance to the GLWMO. Consensus was to continue to <br />insert all correspondence received. <br />B-2 The Board reviewed the following items sent by the GLWMO since the meeting of <br />Apri123, 1998 -NONE. <br />C. REPORTS <br />C-1 Met Council Watershed Outreach/Judy Sventek, Watershed Coordinator, Mississippi <br />River Basin Coordinator (includes Grass Lake Watershed) spoke to the Board and <br />discussed her role with the WMOs and local agencies: <br />^ To meet with 20 watersheds and 90 local government agencies to assist with <br />Comprehensive Plans and the Second Generation Plans. <br />^ Work on a Technical Advisory Committee or simply respond to questions from local <br />government agencies. <br />^ Assist with local Water Management Plans. <br />^ Met Council has grant programs/ended this year, but trying to extend and broaden <br />scope. <br />^ Education programs <br />^ Wetland restoration (any that improves water quality in metro area) <br />She had several handouts for the Board information; a listing of available <br />informational/educational brochures; and a Draft Buffer Zones report, dated 9/16/96. <br />C-2 Consultant's Report <br />Mr. Rye commented briefly on his attendance at the Watershed Partners meetings. <br />
