I2ESOLiJTION AIJTHOI2IZING SIGNATiTRE OF <br />>BOA OF' WATER AND SOIL. IaESOiTI2CES <br />WATERSHED NAGEIVIENT PLAN GRANT DOCITMENTS <br />WHE AS, the State of Minnesota, acting by and through its Board of Water and Soil <br />Resources ("BWSR"), has authority to award grants to the seven county metropolitan area <br />watershed management organizations pursuant to Minn. Stat. §103B.3369, Subd. 5 (1995); and <br />WHE AS, BWSR has made $15,600 in state grant funds available to the Grass Lake <br />Watershed Management Organization to assist in the development of its second generation <br />watershed management plan; and <br />WHE AS, the terms of the State Grant require the Grass Lake Watershed Management <br />Organization to contribute matching funds and in-kind goods and services to equal $15,600; and <br />WHE AS, the Board of Water and Soil Resources has established a priority review schedule <br />for submittal of second generation watershed management plans. <br />NOW, THEIBEF'® BE IT RESOLVED: <br />T T THE Grass Lake Watershed Management Organization Board of Managers approves <br />entering into a Grant Agreement with the State of Minnesota to receive state funds for the <br />development of its second generation watershed management plan under the terms of the Grant <br />Agreement and all statutory requirements; and <br />T T THE Grass Lake Watershed Management Organization Board of Managers authorize the <br />expenditure of cash and in-kind contributions to match the Watershed Management Plan Grant; <br />and <br />BE IT >FITRTHEI~ SOLVED, T T THE Chairperson of the Grass Lake Watershed <br />Management Organization Board of Managers is authorized to execute the Grant Agreement <br />together with all related documents. <br />WHE iTPON, the motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was moved by Member <br />Soderbeck and was seconded by Member Landwehr, and it was declared adopted on September <br />16, 1999, upon the following vote: Ayes: 5 Nays: 0 <br />
