The Board asked staff to prepare a preliminary <br />schedule for these special meetings. <br />Roseville will provide the lead technical staff support for the GLWMO for 2000. <br />Soderbeck moved to set 2000 GLWMO regular meeting dates and location of the <br />meetings. Stark seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 <br />B. CORRESPONDENCE & GENERAL INFORMATION <br />B-1 The Board reviewed the following correspondence received by the GLWMO since the <br />meeting of October 7, 1999: <br />WaterTalk, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Division of Waters, <br />Volume 10, Issue 3, Summer 1999 <br />B-2 The Board reviewed the following correspondence sent by the GLWMO since the <br />October 7, 1999 meeting: <br />No correspondence was sent since the October 7, 1999 meeting. <br />C. REPORTS <br />C-1 Water Management Planning -Barr Engineering Progress Report <br />Karen Chandler and Denny Palmer reported on the progress made to date on the Work <br />Plan for the GLWMO 2°d Generation Water Management Plan. The Board reviewed the <br />revised draft of the Wetland Classification and Management System. The Board agreed <br />that, in general, the classification system was acceptable. <br />Roessler moved to approve the Wetland Classification and Management System section <br />of the 2°d generation plan; Soderbeck seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 <br />The Board discussed the proposed Water Body Classification section of the 2nd <br />generation plan. The Board requested clarif cation of the definition of Wetland verses <br />Water Body. Soderbeck stated that an overall goal should be that there be no discharge <br />from Grass Lake to Vadnais Lake - to limit future financial liability. <br />Stark moved to approve the Water Body Classification section of the 2°d generation plan; <br />Roessler seconded; Ayes: 2 Nays: 1 Abstain: 1 <br />
