Section 3 <br />Strategies for /n-Stream Features <br />Specific ~A) <br />Strategies: B) <br />C) <br />D) <br />E) <br />F) <br />G) <br />Avoid manipulation of the stream channel and drainage system. <br />Restore manipulated reaches and improve habitat in poor areas. <br />Prevent excessive bank erosion. <br />Identify and protect significant in-stream plant populations. <br />Identify and protect spawning areas. <br />Ensure road crossings do not obstruct fish passages. <br />Avoid use of in-stream ponds to minimize thermal impacts. <br />Actions and A1) Manage riparian areas to be wild and allow the stream to meander <br />Implementation (within reasonable limits).
