<br />PESOLUTION NO. 428 <br /> <br />'ii'EREAS Richard Turnlund is hereby hired pnd. a.ppointed Village <br />Clerk of the 'Tillage of RDseville on the following terms: <br /> <br />1. That he is to'eceive a sa.lary of $8500.00 per year, or <br />~?703.33 per month, payable on half on the fifteenth day of the month <br />and the other half on the last d2Y of the month. <br /> <br />2. That said Richard Turnlund will be granted ten days vacation <br />per year, after fulfilling one satisfactory year as Villnge Clerk, or <br />after Apri 1 1, 1962. <br /> <br />3. That sai~i<{ichard Turnlund is hereby given sich leave of ab- <br />sence, b2sed on one day per month, not to exceed 120 d...ys total accu- <br />mulated. <br /> <br />4. That sail Hichard Turrlund is to receive eleven paid holideys, <br />the same"s the other vil1a,re employees. <br /> <br />5. That his working day will be from eight to four thirty, any <br />time in excess Hill not be overtime, nor is it the intent of the Council <br />to limit his '\forking dpy to ei:--ht hours. <br /> <br />6. The duties of said Richard Turnlund "rill be set by the Village <br />Council of the Village of Hoseville; shall also be those duties set <br />forth in rt.ir:nesok Stetu tes 412-151; and also include the fol101\fing: <br /> <br />CO NTRJ L <br /> <br />1. He shall exercise administrCltive over all denartments and divi- <br />sions of the villa.O'e which shan be created 2nd designated by the Council. <br /> <br />2. He shall cerry out the administrptive policies as set forth by <br />the Council in ordinances and advise them on necess."ry changes in Village <br />ordinances pert2ining to administrative procedures. <br /> <br />3. He shall retcdn all duties of the clerk outlined in the Minne- <br />sota Statutes, but he shell be able to delegate such of these powers <br />and duties as he shall deem necesspry. <br /> <br />4. He shall attend Council Neetings at the :iiscretion of the Council. <br /> <br />s. He shall be chosen b the Council solely on the b"sis of his <br />tr2ining, experience, and qualifications and shAll be ap"ointed for an <br />indefinite period, but may be removed by Conncil at any time. <br /> <br />6. He shall advise the Council on the appointment of department <br />heads as Hell as establishing qualifications for t,hese employees, but <br />the council sh211 retain the pmJer of appointment. <br />
