RESOLUTION N(:. 432 A meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Ramsey County, Hinnesota was held at the Villaf'e Hclll in said Village on April 14, 1961, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Trustees, McGee, Flanagan, Reinecke and Acting M~yor Shields. The following members were absent: Mayor Cedarholm. The Iillage Clerk presented an affidnvi t showing public8tioL "nd postinr: of notice, in accordance with the resolution adopted February 10, 1961, to also vote on the question of the special electio held on April l~. 1961, to also vote on the question of issuing bonds in an amount not ex- ceedi ng ~~650,000.OO and the resolution adopted Harch 10, 1961, of the special election held April 11, 1961, to vote on the question of retain- ing the municipal liq'lor store. The Clerk also nresented the state- ments of canvass made b the election judges. The affidpvits and state- ments were duly examined, 2pproved, and ordered placed on file in the of- fice of the Clerk. The Council then inspecte~l the mechanical recording device, on each voting machine used at sa5d election, shOlV"ing the nurn')er of votes cast for and against each proposition voted 0 at said special ~lection, and com- pared the number of votes so shovm by each of such maClnes to have been cast for and against each said propositions with the returns made by the election officers of the several precincts in which the voting machines were used at said election. Anu discrepancies between the numbers of votes shown bI inspection of such machines and the numbers of votes shmm on such returns, were disposed of by corr<cting the returns so as to mAke the returns conform to the vote so shm-ffi by such machines.
