IVlinnesota Association of i~'atershed Districts November 30 -December 2, ?000 Radisson Arrowwood, Alexandria Intr®duc~®n The MAWD 30th Annual Meeting & Trade Show is offering a strong seminar program to help meet your needs as a watershed district official or key watershed district partner. Our program includes four concurrent sessions for a total of twelve different seminars. We will start off the Annual Meeting with our traditional l~etco~rae lieceptdon on Thursday evening on the trade show floor. Door prize opportunities will again be part of the MAWD Trade Show format. MAWD is again offering a special day long drainage session for drainage authorities and their key partners prior to the start of the Annual Meeting (9:30 a.m. - 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 30th) Registration materials are enclosed for this special seminar. adiss®n Arr® ®®d eserva>ti®® The enclosed gold sheet is your Arrowwood reservation form. Room rates are for a party of 1 - 4 persons. Meal packages are priced per person. Please note: Do*_el reservation deadline -November 141th 12e~istra~® This packet of information includes the materials you will need to participate in the 30th Annual Meeting & Trade Show, November 30 -December 2, 2000. at the Radisson Arrowwood, Alexandria. All persons attending the Annual Meeting should check in and pick up their name tag and agendas at the Association's registration table at the Radisson Arrowwood. The registra- tion table will be open from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30, and again at 8:00 a.m. Friday, December 1st. A Itegista-a>t~on The MAWD registration sheet is to be filled out and re- turned by November 24th with your registration fees to: Minnesota Association of Watershed Districts 3848 Westbury Drive St. Paul. MN X5123 Registration fees are $60.00 per person, spouses/guests are exempt. Late registration (postmarked after November 24th) fees are $75.00 per person. If you are attending for the day only on Friday, you must still send in the MAWD registration form and registration fee to the MAWD office. You must also check in at MAWD's registration table for your name tag and other information. The MAWD Board wishes to remind members that water- shed districts are not permitted to cover expenses for spouses and guests. This is in accordance with recent State Auditor findings and the Minnesota Constitution which states "taxes shall be uniform ...and shall be levied and collected for public purposes."
