GRASS LAKE WATER MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: 2/08/01 Prepared by: Karl Keel Item: C-1 <br />Item Description: Review of proposed West Owasso Boulevard reconstruction project <br />The Cities of Shoreview and Roseville are currently proposing to reconstruct West Owasso Boulevard <br />from Victoria Street to North Owasso Boulevard in 2001. Feasibility reports for this project have been <br />completed and are attached. It is expected that the plans prepared by each City will be combined and <br />constructed as one project. <br />Generally, West Owasso Boulevard is a former County Road that has been turned back to Shoreview and <br />Roseville. The project includes resurfacing, curb and gutter, an off-road pathway and new storm sewer. <br />This project will remove all the direct discharges to Lake Owasso from West Owasso Boulevard that exist <br />today. In addition, new pond and infiltration facilities will be installed to improve water quality. <br />RECOMMENDED BOARD ACTION: <br />No formal Board action is necessary <br />
