BWSR Meeting Minutes <br />December 19, 2001 <br />Page Two <br />Chair Coe called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. <br />Pledge of Allegiance <br />** Adopt Agenda -Moved by Jerome Deal, seconded by Victor Ormsby to adopt the <br />o1-s2 agenda as presented. Motion passed on a voice vote. <br />** Minutes of October 25, 2001 -Wayne Edgerton stated that a correction is needed on <br />01-83 page four, under Wayne's DNR Report, the word "petition" fence law ... should be <br />"partition". Moved by Ginny Imholte, seconded by Jack Frost, to approve the minutes of <br />October 25, 2001, as corrected. Motion passed on a voice vote. <br />Open Mike <br />^ Keefe Schunk, citizen, thanked the Board for the opportunity to speak and read <br />his letter to the Board regarding his petition for termination of the Hennepin Soil <br />and Water Conservation District. <br />^ Leigh Harrod, Hennepin Conservation District supervisor, stated that clarification <br />is needed from the Attorney General's Office regarding the law, MN Statute <br />103C.225. Also, Leigh spoke to the dissolution petition of the District. <br />^ Lawrence Samstad, Itasca Engineering; engineer for the Lower Minnesota <br />Watershed District, commented on a wetland issue relating to Mr. Schunk. <br />Reports <br />Chair Coe reported that the BWSR Administrative Advisory Committee met on <br />November 14. Items addressed were non-point engineering allocation; WCA rule; <br />SWCD dissolution legislation and law change; and per diem Legislation. These. items <br />are on the agenda today and will be discussed later. Board appointments have not yet <br />been made by the Governor's office. <br />
