I~ONIiATURf'L, C~Ilice Admin. The Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) is interested in expanding our Advisory Committee and we are asking the coirununities within our district for their help. RCWD is eager to work with the citizens and goverrunent bodies in the Rice Creek drainage toward a more comprehensive and integrated water resource management paradigm. To that end, we are recruiting Advisory Committee members that have a good sense of the needs of their community. The Rice Creek Watershed District board appoints Advisory Committee members for one-year teens. Our Advisory Committee curi•ently meets once a month, the first Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m. in our Blaine office. Members are asked to keep current on water-related issues in their community and relay this information to our board and staff. Advisory members are also asked to periodically attend our board meetings. We would appreciate any tho~:ghts you .1:ight have or k..eti;rledge of individuals ~~~ho could serve on the Advisory Committee for the District.
