Space is limited and participants will be chosen based on review of this form. <br />1) Write aone-paragraph program. description of your citizen-monitoring program. Make sure to <br />include the following information: Do you have an active citizen-monitoring program?, How many <br />years has your program been active?, Number of current volunteers, Waterbody types monitored <br />(lakes, rivers, and/or wetlands), and Location of program (county or watershed). <br />2) Bo you have a "team" available a;~d wi;li;,g to attend this workshop and design your program? <br />If yes, whom would you bring? This program will be most effective when a total of 2-4 people <br />participate in plan design. Please include their name and position, such as: board member, staff, <br />volunteer monitor, technical support, or person that use your data, etc. <br />3) Why do you want to participate in this workshop? Consider including one or more of the <br />following: What are your mission and goals? How does citizen monitoring fit into your <br />organization's mission and goals? Do you have an idea of what you would want acitizen-based <br />program to look like? How do you envision citizen involvement in water resource management? <br />4) Up to $3000 per group is available to implement your written plan! Briefly discuss other ways you <br />would or do contribute to your program. This could include other funds, in-kind contributions, <br />sustainability possibilities, etc. <br />(Over, please) <br />
