Brasch, Rich
3111 Avon Street
Roseville, MN 55113
Dear Rich:
The City of Roseville has been working with Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates on the
update of our Comprehensive Surface Water Management Plan (CSWMP). The primary
function of the report is to serve as a guide to managing the surface water system throughout the
City. The report builds upon and updates the City's 1990 CSWMP. We find that the updated
CSWMP is consistent with the goals, policies and criteria presented in the GLWMO plan,
including the runoff control plan requirements.
This final review draft was originally submitted to you at your July 2003 meeting. As we
discussed at the January meeting, the. review timeline was not clearly defined when we made that
submittal We would like to take this opportunity to formally resubmit the report for your review
and comment. Consistent. with section 6.6.2 Grass Lake WMO Review of Local Watershed
Management Plans, this will commence a 60-day review. period.. Please forward any. comments
you may have regarding this plan to my attention.
We have already received comments from the Metropolitan Council, County, Rice Creek
Watershed District and Capitol Region Watershed District. We appreciate you taking the time to
review and comment on this plan. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
~~~~
Debra M. Bloom
City Engineer
CC: Duane Schwartz, Roseville Public Works Director
Mark Maloney, Shoreview Public Works Director
