Other Business <br />D-1 Joint Powers Agreement <br />The revised Joint Powers Agreement was presented, incorporating staff-level <br />changes from Roseville and Shoreview and conforming to past GLWMO Board <br />comments. Maloney summarized the major areas of revision and recommended <br />that the Board approve the changes and forward to the cities for signature. <br />Branch moved to recommend the revised JPA for execution by the cities of <br />Roseville and Shoreview, Farnham seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 <br />D-2 Shoreview Invasive Aquatic Plant Management Policy <br />Maloney presented a draft of Shoreview's Invasive Aquatic Plant Management <br />Policy. Shoreview's City Council had directed staff to prepare a policy for their <br />consideration in light of recent requests from Lakeshore homeowner's groups. <br />Maloney identified the major points of emphasis of the proposed policy and <br />highlighted the limitation to "invasive" species of weeds and requirements for <br />financial participation from the riparian property owners. <br />Branch moved to support the focus of the policy on invasive species, and to <br />strongly recommend participation in the program by other stakeholders including <br />Ramsey County and the City of Roseville, Farnham seconded. Ayes: 4 Nays: 0 <br />D-3 Review of 2005 Tasks (Table 6.1) <br />The board members discussed revisions to the proposed budget/work program <br />format to make it more readable and reflect the tasks that will be administered by <br />Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District (RWMWD). It was the <br />consensus of the Board that they would continue to use Table 6.1 as a guide for <br />future meeting topics. <br />E.
