The legal roles, r s f <br />sibilities, and powers of our org niz <br />lion are outlined in Minnesota Stat t - <br />103B and the joint powers agreement. <br />The GLWMO has several overall water- <br />shed management purposes, including <br />managing intercommunity stormwater <br />runoff, protecting and preserving water <br />resources, establishing policies for water <br />resources management, preventing soil <br />erosion, promoting groundwater re- <br />charge, and protecting and enhancing <br />wildlife habitat and water recreation, all <br />while minimizing public capital expendi- <br />tures. <br />A.
