Ramsey County (Terry Noonan)
completed a lake macrophyte survey between May 22-30, 2007, prior to the June 4, 2007 chemical
treatment to control marcophytes. The County also continues to collect water quality in Lake
Owasso and RMWD has installed equipment at three locations to monitor stormwater inflows to
Lake Owasso.
The table below provides a summary of the project budgets based on the major work tasks identified
in the agreed upon scope of services. Overall the project is on schedule and moving forward as
j'~~ :- ~ :-ie~:~c•~~er, the development of the Lake %i er Sur Bey ('iask Oi0) uid require more effort than
originally anticipated because of the unplanned meeting with stakeholders to collect input on the lake
user survey, manager's request to development of an on-line survey in addition to the mailing, and
additional postage related to the number of mailings. As a result, this task required unanticipated
project management and the budget for work task 010 was over spent. At the present time it appears
that these overruns can be compensated for by other project efficiencies on the lake sediment core
collection and analysis.
