Bennett is working with Member Hermes on a marketing the sale of the homes. Member Kelsey asked if there will be site signage. The site is not accessible. Could a site board directional sign be placed on Hamline Avenue? (Yes). Member Bean asked if the HRA is reaching its target market. Cathy Bennett reported on the interest by fire fighters, police and teachers. Chair Majerus and Board members asked if an HRA ground breaking could be completed for the new homes. Member Marks suggested he speak to Brian Carey of United Properties for use of ground breaking materials. Staff will work on a date. d) Other Board Member & Staff Reports Executive Director Cathy Bennett distributed community meeting notices to be held by the Council on April 3 and April 26. HRA members are invited and encouraged to attend. The HRC new web site links were distributed. I-35W construction report for 2003 was distributed. Chair Majerus reported on the Twin Lakes Stakeholders meetings. A mobile tour will be held on April 10 (8am to noon). Members were encouraged to attend and rsvp to staff as soon as possible. Member Kelsey asked if any HRA Board members could attend the NAHRO annual conference (May 19-21 in Brainerd). She mentioned that the conference training is expected to be very beneficial. Cathy Bennett will send out registration materials for those that are interested. Member Kelsey asked if the Energy-Housing Affordability conference was being attended by the HRA Board. Adjourn: 9.
