McCarrons Blvd as part of the <br />McCarrons Neighborhood Master Plan (HF0008) <br /> <br />Executive Director Cathy Bennett summarized the Master Plan process and noted that higher <br />density use and partnership with adjoining property owners is supported by the neighborhood. <br />The Armory has communicated that they are not vacating at this time, but would explore <br />partnerships. The City does receive a first option to purchase as part of state statue <br />requirements for disposing of property. Storm water management recommendations are being <br />prepared by the Watershed District. <br /> <br />Dennis Guptil (and Ron VanRiper, Partner, Coldwell Banker) provided background on their plans <br />for the site. Mr. Guptil explained that reconfiguration may change density or height of building. <br /> <br />Chair Majerus asked how realistic is the time line? Mr. Guptil indicated that there are many <br />variables at this time, but that he hopes to communicate more frequently on progress. <br /> <br />Member Kelsey asked if the proposal is 42-48 units of age-restricted condo units, with prices to <br />be determined (market review shows $79 to $190K). Can some of the tasks be done <br />concurrently? Why is a development agreement needed.
