Consequently, th.e waters downstream of the wafer level. augmentation pump on Snail Lake <br />(62-73P) were also inspected for this non-native invasive mussel, and this investigation found no <br />evidence of zebra mussels in the receiving waters. Another round of inspects are proposed for this <br />coming year. <br />Minnesota Rules, Chapter 6216.0500, Subpart 1(a} prohibits the diversion, appropriation, and <br />transportation of water from designated infested waters except as specified in a DNR water <br />appropriation permit, public waters work permit, or permit to appropriate/transport infested waters. <br />Public Waters Permit 1994-6011 does not authorize such activity; therefore, a permit to appropriate or <br />transport infested waters i.s required from the DNR Division. of 1/cological Resources before pumping <br />water from Sucker Lake (62-28P) to Snail Lake (62-73P) can resume. <br />Thank you for your cooperation.
