Date: 07/24/08 Prepared by: Mark Maloney Item: D-4 <br />Other Business <br />Item Description: Water Resources Components in Shoreview's Comprehensive Plan <br />Revision <br />The City of Shoreview recently completed a Draft Update of its Comprehensive Plan as required by the <br />Metropolitan Council.. The Comprehensive Plan is made up of chapters concerning the various aspects of <br />municipal planning and infrastructure. A copy of the Surface Water Chapter (9.D) is attached for <br />reference. The Update is currently out for public comment and agency review; a formal public hearing is <br />scheduled next month. The City is required to complete all aspects of the Plan Update by December 31, <br />2008. <br />The City' of Shoreview will incorporate any official comments by the Board into the review process. <br />No Board action is necessary, for informational purposes only. <br />
