Most of the available funds are a result of the <br />constitutional amendment passed by Minnesota voters in 2008. <br />A total of $14 million in grants and loans is available in a number of program <br />categories to counties, cities, soil and water conservation districts, water <br />management organizations and certain joint powers boards. To help you prepare to <br />apply for funds to implement projects in your communities, BWSR is making Clean <br />water Fund and Competitive Grants information available on our website: <br />www.bwsr.state.mn.us <http://www.bwsr.state.mn.us> . <br />Funds will be available in four main categories: <br />Clean water Fund Grant Programs - $12.8 million <br />Native Buffer Cost Share Program- $900,000 <br />* Cooperative weed Management Area Program- $100,000 <br />* Conservation Drainage Program - $200,000 <br />Page 2 <br />
