3} Appoinhnent The members of the comrnittee sh.all be a.ppointed by the Village Council for a term of three veal'S except 'en the case of the original seven members, in which case the Council shall appoint two members for one year terms, two members for two year terms, and three members for three year terms. The Council shall thereafter appoint two members each for the first and second year and three new members for the third year. 4) Qualification for Membership: The following require- ments for membership must be met before appointment b,:, the Council: a) Applicant must be engaged in the business of selling insurance on a full time basis and must sign an affi- davit in a form approved by the Village Clerk which states that he derives 80'fo of his income in insurance commissions from fire, casualty or bond insurance policies. b) Anplicant must be a resident owning real estate in tbe Village of Roseville or an agent for an insurance office in the Village of Roseville and owning real estate in the Village of Roseville. 5) Compensation Members of the committee sball pool all commissions received from insurance policies received by the Village and divide said commissions evenly between the seven members and each member must sign a contra.ct a.pproved by tbe Village Attorney and the Village Clerk agree;.ng to the division of insurance commissions as 'herein specified.
