Extract of Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Rosevil1e, Minnesota was duly held at the Village Hall in said village on the 8th day of September, 1961 at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following members were present: Cedarholm, Shields, Flanagan and Reinecke and t~e following was absent: McGee. A discussion was held regarding proposed assessments for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.3. Member Reinecke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUnON NO. 485 RESOLUTION DECLAK1~G CUS1 10 BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.3 of the Village of Roseville, in the area described in the legal notice thereof and the resolution thereto, and the contract prices and all expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $2,371,586.31, so that the total cost of the improvement will be $2,371,586.31; and of this cost the village will pay $150,000 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The cost of said such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be approximately $1,909, 437.50 which, together with general taxes to be levied in the amount of $150,000 and other income received during the course of improvement from interest earnings, connection charge from the Roseville School Dis- trict, and other income from surrounding villages who have been afforded a connection for the distribution of their sewage effluent through the Roseville system, will be sufficient to pay the full cost of said improvement. 2. The village clerk, with the assistance of the village consulting engineers, Banister Engineering Company, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy o~ such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. The seDvices of the Machine Accounting Division of theCounty of Ramsey shall be utilized, insofar as possible.
