<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD DECEMBER 16, 1968 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting <br />of the Village Council of Roseville, Hinnesota, was duly called <br />and held at the Village Hall in said Village on December 16, 1968 <br />at 7: 30 P. M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: flayor Hall, Counci II:len <br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Side Ids <br />and the following were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Linebarger <br />and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />introduced the following Resolution <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5001 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the temporary vacancy in the position of the Village <br />Manager necessitates an interim appointment of an Acting Village <br />~~nager to provide continuity in the government's administrative <br />function; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Roseville Village <br />Council appoint Joseph M. Sills as Acting Village Manager under <br />the following conditions: <br /> <br />1. He shall become Acting Village Manager and assume the <br />duties imposed by Chapter 245 of the Roseville Village <br />Code immediately upon fllr. Richard Turnlund's absence from <br />the position of Village Manager; <br /> <br />2. He shall be con~ensated at $1,250 per month beginning <br />January 1, 1969, for such a period as he remains Acting <br />Village Manager after January 1, 1969; <br /> <br />3. He shall retain all fringe benefits and other rights as <br />outlined in Chapters 250 through 254 of the Roseville <br />Village Code; <br /> <br />4. He shall be returned to a position of Assistant Village <br />Manager, if not appointed permanently to the position of <br />Village Manager at a compensation of $1,000 per month <br />upon assumption of the Village l'lanager position by <br />another appointee. <br />
