<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call 'and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, <br />County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of October, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />. . <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Cushman, and <br />V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8996 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION FOR mE VACATION OF A PORTION OF <br />SNELLING A VENUE FRONTAGE ROAD AND RUSSELL COURT <br />AND VARIOUS UTILITY EASEMENTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said portions of <br />utility, drainage, and street easements in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, because the portion of Snelling A ven ue frontage road and Russell Court are not <br />necessary for public purposes; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said street, utility, and drainage <br />easements as described in Attachment "A". <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby <br />vacates a portion of public street, utility, and drainage easements over the property described in <br />Attachment "A", except easements for public or private utilities, including but not imited to water <br />lines, sewer mains, telephone lines and poles, gas and electric lines and cab]e TV lines, including <br />the right to maintain the same or to enter upon such land or portion thereof vacated, to maintain, <br />repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto, existing on the date of this vacation, shall be <br />preserved and maintained by said utility holder pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 160.29. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, <br />and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Maschka, P. Johnson, <br /> <br />Goedeke, Cushman, and V. Johnson. and the followin~ voted against same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
