EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call 'and notice thereof, a meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of October, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. . . The following members were present: Maschka, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Cushman, and V. Johnson, and the following were absent: None. Member Maschka introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 8996 RESOLUTION FOR mE VACATION OF A PORTION OF SNELLING A VENUE FRONTAGE ROAD AND RUSSELL COURT AND VARIOUS UTILITY EASEMENTS WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing to determine whether or not said portions of utility, drainage, and street easements in the City of Roseville should be vacated; and WHEREAS, because the portion of Snelling A ven ue frontage road and Russell Court are not necessary for public purposes; and WHEREAS, it would be beneficial to the public interest to vacate said street, utility, and drainage easements as described in Attachment "A". NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Roseville hereby vacates a portion of public street, utility, and drainage easements over the property described in Attachment "A", except easements for public or private utilities, including but not imited to water lines, sewer mains, telephone lines and poles, gas and electric lines and cab]e TV lines, including the right to maintain the same or to enter upon such land or portion thereof vacated, to maintain, repair, replace, remove or otherwise attend thereto, existing on the date of this vacation, shall be preserved and maintained by said utility holder pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 160.29. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following vote in favor thereof: Maschka, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Cushman, and V. Johnson. and the followin~ voted against same: None. WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
