<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota was duly held on <br />the 11th day of October, 1993, at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Maschka, P. Johnson, Goedeke, <br />Cushman and V. Johnson, and the following members were absent: None. <br /> <br />Member Maschka moved that the following resolution be adopted. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8999 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Peter Nasvik/Welsh Companies Inc. has filed an application for <br />a special use penllit for an expanded amusement establishment at 1655 W. County <br />Road B-2; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is residential property <br />that may be adversely affected in the immediate vicinity of this requested use; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received a report trom the Roseville Police <br />Chief that seriously questions safety and security issues related to a congregation <br />point such as a commercial recreation site. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Rosevi11e as fo11ows: <br /> <br />That the safety and security issues involved with the expanded amusement <br />establishment use at 1655 W. County Road B-2 would have an adverse affect on <br />surrounding residential areas and other area properties; and <br /> <br />The Council has detenllined that the application of Peter Nasvik/Welsh <br />Companies, Inc. be denied. <br /> <br />The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Member Cushman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Maschka, P.
