EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Roseville, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota was duly held on the 11th day of October, 1993, at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Maschka, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Cushman and V. Johnson, and the following members were absent: None. Member Maschka moved that the following resolution be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 8999 WHEREAS, Peter Nasvik/Welsh Companies Inc. has filed an application for a special use penllit for an expanded amusement establishment at 1655 W. County Road B-2; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that there is residential property that may be adversely affected in the immediate vicinity of this requested use; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received a report trom the Roseville Police Chief that seriously questions safety and security issues related to a congregation point such as a commercial recreation site. NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Rosevi11e as fo11ows: That the safety and security issues involved with the expanded amusement establishment use at 1655 W. County Road B-2 would have an adverse affect on surrounding residential areas and other area properties; and The Council has detenllined that the application of Peter Nasvik/Welsh Companies, Inc. be denied. The Motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Cushman and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Maschka, P.
