<br />Af Lel Cr""Ctt~~tLSS itm"''''O'f"'''t'tm'""Vn!W!r~bV~1Shs <br /> <br />a-ppeari.'ftg""'-at:--t:he-opabi-i"C'" -heaL i.h9 "f'or'S't:orm- 'tJra'trra:g e 1:m~ <br /> <br />No.- GO-"3 5, Councilman <br /> <br />Grauel <br /> <br />then introduced the <br /> <br />following resolution and moved its adoption: <br /> <br />Resolution No. 5075 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br />61'Oawl DRAINAGE IlVlPROVEMENT NO. 68-35 <br />UNDER AND PURSUJU1T TO MINNESOTA <br />STATUTES, CHAPTER 429 <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Roseville, <br />Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota <br />Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a <br />public hearing pursuant to published notice, on the proposed <br />construction of Storm Drainage Improvement No. 68-35, consisting <br />of a system of trunk and lateral storm sewers from 12 inch through <br />42 inch in size to provide immediate outlet for the lands lying <br />approximately three-eighths of a mile north of County Road B-2 <br />and lying approximately three-eighths of a mile east of <br />Western Avenue and adjacent southerly to the intersection of <br />County Road B-2 and Galtier Street. The system of sewers is so <br />designed as to provide further storm sewer outlets for the <br />entire area lying west of Rice Street between Minnesota Avenue <br />and County Road C and east of Western Avenue. Such extended <br />service may be achieved by the further extension of star: m <br />sewers from the pipes proposed to be constructed under this <br />improvement. The system of storm sewers will discharge into the <br />existing large trunk storm sewer lying on Brooks Avenue and <br />cohansey Street west of Western Avenue and discharging into <br />the low ground in the easterly end of the Roseville Central <br />Park and following through a system of open ditches to eventually <br />reach Lake Owasso. The foregoing was described in the .dotice of <br />Hearing at a cost presently estimated to be $170',000.00, and is <br />snbstantially in accordance with the preliminary engineer's <br />report as to the feasibility thereof which is now on file in <br />the office of the acting Village l,ranager. Having considered the <br />views of all interested persons and being full advisgd in the <br />premises, the Council does hereby determine and order that said <br />improvement shall be constructed and financed, and special assess- <br />
