<br />EXTRACT OF MINU1ES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL <br />OF TIlE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA - <br />HELD March 31, 1969 <br /> <br />* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice tilereof a regular n~eting <br />of the Vi llage Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly called and <br />held at the Village Hall in said Village on March 31, 1969. <br /> <br />The following members were present: Mayor I'1oll, Councilmen <br />Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Shields <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Curley introduced the followinrr. resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5078 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OPPOSED TO !lOUSE FILE 1168 and SENATE FILE 670 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Village of Roseville Police Department provides <br />er,lergency anbulance service to all" its res iden ts ; <br /> <br />\\TflEREAS, House File 1168 and Senate File 670 would impose <br />arbitrary regulations on ambulance service that would adversely affect <br />the ambulance service wi thin the Village of Roseville; <br /> <br />NOlI', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. The Village Council of the Village of Roseville is hereby <br />opposed to House File 1168 and Senate File 670 insofar as said bills relate <br />to the adoption of regulations by the State Board of Health which adversely <br />affect police and emergency arbulance service. <br /> <br />2. That said resolution be forwarded to the appropriate <br />legislators. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoinp resolution was <br />duly seconded by ~Itember Linebarger and upon a vote being taken thereon <br />the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: None <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, said resolution was declared duly passed and <br /> <br />adopted. <br />
