Attachment A-3 <br />16. TWO-SORT COLLECTION SYSTEM -The Contractor shall <br />collect and process the residential curbside material within the <br />form of a "two-sort" system whereby residents will be <br />instructed to commingle two groups of materials: (1) all food <br />and beverage containers, including glass, metal and plastic <br />bottles/jugs; and (2) all paper fiber products, including <br />newspapers, boxboard, magazines, mixed mail, catalogs, phone <br />books and corrugated cardboard. The Contractor shall not make <br />any changes to this "two-sort" collection/processing system <br />without written approval of the City. Failure to receive City <br />approval for any such changes to the "two-sort" <br />collection/processing system prior to implementation for City <br />collections or material processing shall be considered by the <br />City as a breach of this Agreement subject to termination. <br />17. ESTIMATING MATERIALS COMPOSITION AS <br />COLLECTED -The Contractor shall conduct at least one <br />materials composition analysis of the Ciry's recyclables each <br />year to estimate the relative amount by weight of each <br />recyclable commodity by grade. The results of this analysis <br />shall include: (1) percent by weight of each recyclable <br />commodity by grade as collected from the City; (2) relative <br />change compared to the previous year's composition; and (3) a <br />description of the methodology used to calculate the <br />composition, including number of samples, dates weighed, and <br />City route(s) used for sampling. <br />18. ESTIMATING PROCESS RESIDUALS -The Contractor shall <br />provide a written description of the means to estimate process <br />residuals derived from the City's recyclables. This written <br />description shall be reviewed and approved in writing by the <br />City. This written description shall be updated by the <br />Contractor immediately after any changes to the processing <br />facilities used by the Contractor. <br />B. MULTI-UNIT DWELLING COLLECTION <br />18.
