The Clerk shall provide each polling place with at least two sample ballots arranged in the form of a diagram showing such part of the face of the voting machine as shall be in use at said election. Such sample ballots shall contain suitable illustrated directions for voting on the voting machine, and shall remain open to inspection by the voters throughout the said election day. A sample ballot shall also be posted in the office of the Village Manager at least four days before the election. Virginia Binet Grace Erickson Yvonne Buckley After the polls close, the judges shall forthwith lock the voting machines, read and announce the votes on the proposi- tions submitted as shown on the public counter. The judges shall thereafter enter the results on the statements of can- vass, sign the certificates required by law, and deliver the statements of canvass to the Village Manager. The Council shall meet as a canvassing board on August --6-, 1969, at 5:30 P.M. o'clock p.m. at the Village Hall, to declare the results of the election. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolu- tion was duly seconded by Member Linebar~~er , and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: -4- All present None
