<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF <br />ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD JULY 22, 1969 <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* * <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the Village Council of Roseville, Minnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on <br />Tuesday, July 22, 1969. <br /> <br />Tne following members were present: Mayor Moll, <br />Councilmen Anderson, Linebarger, Grauel and Curley <br /> <br />and the following members were absent: None <br /> <br />Member Grauel introduced the following resolution and <br />moved its adoption. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 5149 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING AND AUTHORIZING ThE VILLAGE ATTORNEY <br />TO REQUEST EXCLUSION OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE FROM A CLASS <br />ACTION BROUGHT BY THE STATE OF MINNESOTA AGAINST VARIOUS DRUG <br />COMPANIES. <br /> <br />t'YHEREAS, the Village of Roseville, has been served with <br />a Notice of Class Suit brought by the State of Minnesota on <br />behalf of itself and other government subdivisions in the State <br />against various drug companies for damages resulting from <br />alleged unfair competition and restraint of trade, and <br /> <br />WHEltEAS, the Village Manager has determined that the Village <br />of Rosevil1e has no interest in said Class Suit as a purchaser <br />of products of these drug companies during the period 1954 to <br />1966; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL FOR <br />THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The Village Council hereby directs the Village Attorney to <br />request exclusion on behalf of the Village of Roseville from the <br />above stated Class Suit before August 1, 1969, in order that the <br />Village of Roseville not be made a party to said action. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />duly seconded by Member Curley and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />the following voted in favor of the resolution: all present <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />WHEREUPON, the said resolution was declared duly passed and <br />adopted. <br />
