Regular City Council Meeting <br />Monday, May 24, 2010 <br />Page 17 <br />Public Works Director Duane Schwartz reviewed the GLWMO and member re- <br />presentation from the Cites of Shoreview and Roseville, for the northeast corner <br />of the City draining into Lake Owasso, as detailed in the RCA dated May 24, <br />2010. Mr. Schwartz advised that three applications-had been received for the one <br />vacant position, from Mary Kay Von De Linde; Rebecca Galkiewicz; and Johna- <br />than Miller <br />Pust moved, Johnson seconded, appointment of Mary Kay Von De Linde to the <br />Grass Lake Watershed Management Organization (GLWMO) Board for the re- <br />mainder of a three year term to expire on December 31, 2012. <br />Councilmember Roe suggested that, when there were multiple candidates, inter- <br />views be scheduled for this type of vacancy as well as the City's Advisory Com- <br />missions. <br />Roll Call <br />Ayes: Pust; Roe; Ihlan; Johnson; and Klausing. <br />Nays: None. <br />13. Councilmember-Initiated Items for Future Meetings <br />Councilmember Roe requested additional discussion of the Capital Improvement Plan <br />(CIP) on June 14, 2010, as well as more discussion on the ranking approach to be used in <br />the Budget process. <br />Councilmember Johnson concurred. <br />16.
