EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF TIlE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA, HELD August 25, 1969 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, was duly held in the Council Chambers in the Village Hall in said Village on Monday, the 25th day of August, 1969 at 7:30 P.M. The following members were present: Mayor Moll, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Anderson and Linebarger and the following were absent: None Member Grauel introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 5183 T r RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. ST-68-11 of the Village of Rosevi 11e, in the area described in the legal notice thereof and the resolution thereto, and the contract price for such improvment is $ l~95,000.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ 89,885.00 so that the total cost of the improve- ment will be $ 5.?>4,885.00' __, and of thlS cost the Village will pay $ 429,205.00 as its share or the cost. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Village Council of the Village of Roseville, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby de- clared to be $ 155,680.00 . 2. The Village Manager, to~ether with the assistance of the Village Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. The Village Manager may arrange for the assistance of the Machine Accounting Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. 3. The Village Manager shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment notify the Council thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Linebarger and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All present and the following voted against the same: None WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
