<br />Resolution No. 53 <br />Adopted October 6, 1953 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a contract has been let and the work performed f0r the improve- <br /> <br />ment of Roma Street between the west side of Dunlap Street to the east side <br /> <br /> <br />of Fernwood Street by Ernest Markham and the cost of such improvement was <br /> <br /> <br />Two thousand twenty-three and 88/100, ($2223.88) dollars and the expenses <br /> <br /> <br />incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to <br /> <br />$10.00 , so that the total cost of the improvement will be .889.23 and of <br /> <br /> <br />this cost the village will pay all in excess of Eight hundred seventy-nine <br /> <br /> <br />and 23/100 ($879.23) dollars as its share of the cost. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOTA: <br /> <br /> <br />1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby <br /> <br /> <br />declared to be $879.23. <br /> <br /> <br />2. The village clerk, with the assistance of the village engineer <br /> <br /> <br />shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for <br /> <br /> <br />such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land <br /> <br /> <br />within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided <br /> <br /> <br />by law, and shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in the clerk's <br /> <br />office for public inspection. <br /> <br /> <br />3.
