<br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />* <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly <br />held on the 10th day of January, 1994, at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />The fOllowing members were present: <br />wiski, and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Mastel, P. Johnson, Goedeke, <br />V. Johnson. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 9026 <br /> <br />IN APPRECIATION TO STEVE GATLIN <br />UPON HIS RESIGNATION FROM THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve Gatlin has served the city of Roseville for five years <br />as the Director of Public Works; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve's service has always been marked by professionalism, <br />dedication, and a willingness to get the job done; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve has given invaluable time and talent during his tenure <br />to projects such as the John Rose Minnesota Oval, the Pavement <br />Management Program, the water distribution system and the completion <br />of the public works maintenance facility; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve has always served the residents of Roseville with a <br />professional and courteous demeanor; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Steve's tenure has been characterized by community <br />leadership, serving as the State President of the American Public <br />Works Association, as a member of the Transportation Advisory Board <br />and various other professional organizations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS: Steve has resigned from his position with the City in order <br />to advance his career; <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the city Council of the city of <br />Roseville does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to <br />Steve Gatlin for the commendable manner in which he has carried out <br />his duties as the Director of Public Works and does wish him the best <br />of success and happiness in his new position. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was <br />seconded by Member Wiski, and upon a vote being taken thereon, <br />following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, P. Johnson, Goedeke, <br />Wiski, and the fOllowing voted against the same: None. <br /> <br />duly <br />the <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />
