EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City council of the city of Roseville, County of Ramsey, Minnesota was duly held on the 10th day of January, 1994, at 7:30 p.m. The fOllowing members were present: wiski, and the following were absent: Mastel, P. Johnson, Goedeke, V. Johnson. and Member Goedeke introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 9026 IN APPRECIATION TO STEVE GATLIN UPON HIS RESIGNATION FROM THE CITY OF ROSEVILLE WHEREAS, Steve Gatlin has served the city of Roseville for five years as the Director of Public Works; and WHEREAS, Steve's service has always been marked by professionalism, dedication, and a willingness to get the job done; and WHEREAS, Steve has given invaluable time and talent during his tenure to projects such as the John Rose Minnesota Oval, the Pavement Management Program, the water distribution system and the completion of the public works maintenance facility; and WHEREAS, Steve has always served the residents of Roseville with a professional and courteous demeanor; and WHEREAS, Steve's tenure has been characterized by community leadership, serving as the State President of the American Public Works Association, as a member of the Transportation Advisory Board and various other professional organizations; and WHEREAS: Steve has resigned from his position with the City in order to advance his career; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, That the city Council of the city of Roseville does hereby express its sincere appreciation and thanks to Steve Gatlin for the commendable manner in which he has carried out his duties as the Director of Public Works and does wish him the best of success and happiness in his new position. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was seconded by Member Wiski, and upon a vote being taken thereon, following voted in favor thereof: Mastel, P. Johnson, Goedeke, Wiski, and the fOllowing voted against the same: None. duly the and WHEREUPON said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
