EXTRACT OF ~HNUTES OF HEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ROSEVILLE, MINNESOrA - HELD February 9, 1970 * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a rejr,ular meeting of the Village Council of Rosevi11e, Minnesota, was duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on February 9, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. The followin,g members were present: ~layor Holl, Councilmen Curley, Grauel, Linebarger and Anderson and the fo 1 lowing were absent: None Member Linebarger moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and RESOLUTION NO. 5314 WHEREAS, the Vi llage of Rosevi lIe has a contract wi th the City of St. Paul to purchase water at a wholesale rate; WHEREAS, the Village of Rosevi lIe re-sells water to its customers at a retail rate; I!HEREAS, on August 27, 1969, the City of St. Paul notified the Village of Roseville that the wholesale water consumntion rates would be increased effective October I, 1969; !,VHEREAS , the Vi llage of Rosevi lIe must pass this rate increase onto its customers; NOlI], THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED bY 'niE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ROSEVILr~ AS FOLL0I1S: The Village Council of the Villa~ of Rosevi 11e is opposed to any water rate increase, ~lich by necessity must be passed on- to its customer~,by the City of St. Paul without a documented study and analysis of the need for said rate increase. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Curley and upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor of the resolution: All present and the following voted against same: None WIlE HE UP ON , the said resolution was declared duly nassed and adopted.
